SARA BARNETT is a professional actor of stage and screen born in California and raised by New England and Queens, NY. Classically trained at The National Theatre Institute, she holds BA’s in both Theatre and English from Connecticut College. She is constantly seeking the clearest way to truth in both performance and writing.

Acting with Soho Rep, The Players Club, The Drama Dept., Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Dorset Theatre Festival, The Williamstown Theatre Festival and many other wonderful playhouses, she is also an improvisor, having studied and performed at the original UCB, PIT, and Magnet theaters. As a voice artist and audio book narrator, Sara’s recorded with Scholastic, Hachette, MacMillian Audio, Audible, and many more. She is a national ALA nominee and Audiofile Magazine EarPhones Award recipient.

Appearing in funny stuff on MTV, Nickelodeon, HBO, Comedy Central, and NBC, as well as in award-winning films at the Cannes and Tribeca film festivals, Sara also received a Best Actress award from The Downbeach Film Festival. She speaks conversational Spanish, swims like a champ, studies Buddhism, drives stick, and fits in your pocket.
